Continued Safeguarding and Support
Whilst Orion students and staff will not be onsite at all times we are following the Department for Education’ guidance on how we can ensure our students are Safe. There will be contact made with all vulnerable groups to ensure students are well.
Staff will contact students once a week to ensure that they can access resources and to ensure that they are safe and well.
Students who are classed as ‘vulnerable’ during the school closure will be contacted by the school safeguarding team once a week.
If a student is on the SEND register they will be contacted daily by a teacher to ensure they understand the learning and are able to connect.
